FINAL CONFERENCE OF EUROPEAN PROJECT INMA: Training and Labour Employment of Qualified Women as Manager of Innovation

INMA 4The partnership between public and private entities in investigating new ways to promote development is critical in the current situation, economic and social, living Europe and the rest of the world.  The INMA European project, focusing on the formation and incorporation of women into the business world and  to any other area as managers of innovation, extends and strengthens the initiatives undertaken by the various partners involved: Documenta, European Institute Studies for Training and Development and project sponsor, Santander City Council through its Development Agency, Dimitra (Greece), The West Pomeranian Business School (Poland) and Intelligent and Responsible Territory Management, GTIR (Spain).

 

Nearing completion, the project held last November 30 its Final Conference in the Palacio de la Magdalena in Santander, attended by the Councillor for Employment and Enterprise Development Gema Díaz Domínguez, Director of the Employment Service of Cantabria Maria Angeles Sopeña, representatives of the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare of the Government of Cantabria, Ms. Amaya Fernández Development Agency of the City of Santander, President of Documenta D. Javier Farto and experts from different European organizations involved.

INMA PROJECT CLOSURE MEETING

Meeting 5INMA project (Innovation Management Agents) is about to finish, for this reason, project partners have recently held the last coordination meeting in order to establish the tasks must be done to end the project successfully.

The fourth coordination meeting of INMA project was held on the 29th November in Santander (Spain) with the attendance of representatives from Santander Municipality, Documenta and GTIR from Spain; Dimitra from Greece and West Pomeranian Business School in Poland.

During this meeting, partners did a review of the state of the project, paying special attention to the ending of the pilot training courses “Innovation Management Agents” that are in progress at this moment in the three above mentioned countries.

The pilot courses are being implemented in parallel in Greece, Poland and Spain with the participation of women with university background. During the impressions exchange, partners, responsible of coordinating the courses, pointed out that the students have shown a high participation and a great interest on this professional profile.

The beta training tool is being tested in this pilot training course and, once the courses finish, the recommendations from the participants – tutors as well as students – will be collected in order to create the final version of the tool.

Also, partners worked on the dissemination activities due to two more leaflets with information about the project are going to be created as well as a publication. One of the leaflets will offer information about the online training tool while the other one will be used as a presentation of the professional profile Innovation Management Agents. Both of them will be available in the national languages as well as in English.

INMA virtual community is another strong point of the dissemination. It is a meeting point for the students, tutors, enterprises and other stakeholders. This international network allows the exchange of information, learning and enriching. 

Finally, during this last project meeting, an evaluation workshop was implemented. Partners worked on the future viability of project products in their countries. So they identified the potential barriers to use those products as well as the contexts in which those products can be more useful. 

INMA PILOT TRAINING KICK OFF IN GREECE

P1010003On Monday 1/10/2012, "DIMITRA" Institute of Training and Development started the INMA pilot training in Larissa, Greece. During the first in-class session, all the participants – 20 University Graduates, unemployed women – was getting familiar with INMA project, the Multimedia Training tool and the Social Community tool. All the participants showed great interest regarding INMA project and the pilot training programme. The trainees started their on-line training on "Knowledge Management" Thematic Area.

On the follow table it is presented the order of the Thematic Areas, the starting and the ending day of the training period for each Thematic Area and when the in-class meeting will take place.

LEARNING TO MANAGE INNOVATION IN SMEs, A NEW JOB OPPORTUNITY

DSCN1447In the framework of the European project of Innovation Management Agents (INMA), this week begins the training course of innovation management in SMEs organized by the Municipality of Santander and Documenta, European Institute for Training and Development. INMA pilot training is aimed primarily at highly qualified women, who due to the oversupply caused by the crisis, are now working in jobs below their qualifications or unemployed.

 The main objective of INMA European project is to adjust and transfer to other countries the European professional profile of “Innovation Agent” created in 2005 to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, mainly by promoting the acquisition and adequate use of innovations and new technologies. INMA project also aims to promote the participation of women in the field of innovation, currently occupied mostly by men.

Start of the INMA training in Poland!

IMG 0304After a long period of preparation the training session in Poland has finally begun.Its thematic area and structure met with satisfactory response, gathering a large number of students. It indicates, that there is a growing need for such training concerning the innovation factor among modern SME’s in region and in the whole Poland alike.

The training aims at creation of the new profession, namely Knowledge and Innovation Management Agent. Newly trained experts will be able to contribute to the innovative development of SME sector and in the broader context of the Europe 2020 Strategy and its flagship initiative Innovation Union.
